CUTTING PROCESS CONTROL ON MACHINE-TOOLS WITH CNC BY USE OF CAM-SYSTEM

AbstractIt is showed in the article, that, not looking on the substantial not stationary of machining for most details, in-use for automation programming of machine-tools with CNC the CAM systems (Computer Aided Manufacturing) are not able to decide the task of cutting process control for his stabilizing and subsequent optimization. Purpose. Developing of new method of process of cutting at treatment of details control on machine-tools with CNC through known systems and presentation of results of experimental approbation. Methodology. The method of cutting process control is presented on machine-tools with CNC through CAM system, which consists of automatic transformation of control the program, created in to the system, taking into account the results of simulation of machining on the basis of apriority information. The special software, able to execute such task, is developed. Results of experimental approbation of method at milling of polyhedrons on a lathe with CNC confirmed its high efficiency. Experimental researches confirmed, not looking on reproducing of geometrical true-to-shape of detail, complete absence of process of cutting at the use of the computer-integrated CAD/CAM systems and instructions of firms control, producers of machine-tools with CNC. They do not take into account the change of allowance, does not «feel» a workpiece, that results in different collisions at machining on a machine-tool. Purpose. Experimental researches confirmed the capacity of the developed method, created software and efficiency of cutting process control with its help. Further perfection will be directed on providing of automatic parallel work together with in-use in practice of machining the computer-integrated CAD/CAM systems.
