COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF RESULTS OF ANALYTICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH OF THE CONVEYOR MECHANISM OF PAD PRINTING MACHINE TDM-300

Abstract

Purpose. The aim is to compare the results of theoretical and experimental studies of cam drive of conveyor of pad printing machine TDM-300 for feeding products in the area of printing. Design/methodology/approach. Studies were conducted on the experimental stand of conveyor of a pad printing machine TDM-300. Experimental studies were conducted using a strain gauge measuring methods of mechanical quantities. It made the calculation of shipping unit of parameters of the existing experimental pad printing machine TDM-300. The results of theoretical calculations were compared with experimental data. Theoretical and experimental research were carried out for the same speeds of main shaft of cam drive mechanism. Findings. At a speed of 20 rev/min is the perfect match of theoretical and experimental data of the shipping system. For other values there is an increase in the quantities of torque, resulting in worse positioning accuracy, distorted set options periodic motion, change system settings and more. The result is a match of the character of the maximum values change of torque; their matches were counted, for the main shaft – within 3%, for the slave shaft – 9%. The results of analytical studies are confirmed Originality/value. Experimental studies confirm the proposed analytical calculations that can be used in the design, calculations, modernization and improvement of conveyor of pad printing machines with cam drive.
