Abstract

In the work there are presented the results of research of the mechanism of deformation penetration into slab inside layers at the incomplete crystallization stage. Physical modeling of deformation of a slab with liquid core was performed on the model of Wood's alloy and calibrated spherical lead elements. The physical model looks like a closed shell. A closed shell allows to produce various internal pressures simulating the ferrostatic pressures and to model slab deformation at the various casting stages. Results of the physical modeling are used for the mathematical model adaptation.
