Abstract

The subject of the article is the ability to maintain its suspension stability over time.
The purpose of the article is to analyze the stability studies of highly concentrated suspensions and preservation of uniform distribution of solids by suspension volume.
We used analytical methods, experimental methods for determining the sedimentation rate of the particles and visual observation methods.
The article describes the physical and chemical properties of highly concentrated slurries. The analysis of research sedimentation and aggregation stability of suspensions with different concentrations of the solid component. Determined that increasing the concentration of solid component in the slurry reducing its stability. The questions influence of dispersion of a solid component of the suspensions stability made from different brands. Found that the most rational composition of water- coal suspension is bimodal size distribution of solid component. Also in the paper presents the results of studies of the effect of stabilizers and plasticizers on the amounts considered in this paper.
