Abstract

The results of ivestigation on the vibroimpulsive molding process of porous tubular preforms from titanium powder are presented. It is shown that the most intensive densification of the powder is observed at the initial 10-15 sec. of vibrocompaction. With increase of inertial tightening weight value the preform density increases too as well as intensity of density increment at the initial 35-40 sec. of vibration and density heterogeneity on a height of preform. On the latest stages of processing the intensity of density increment virtually does not depends on inertial tightening weight value.
