Abstract

An analysis of interrelation between cutting tool life increment and cutting conditions parameters corresponding changes is given. Correction coefficients for separate cutting conditions parameters to quantitative estimation of this interrelation are proposed. Recommendations on the application of the effect of an essential increase in cutting tool life with a slight decrease in the cutting speed are given.
