Abstract

Variables on a form the cut off layers of material at cutting of gear-wheels have areas, the thickness of which approaches a zero which negatively influences on tool life. For the exposure of these areas the task of determination of thickness of cut is decided at treatment of gear-wheels by rack-shaped cutters. The graphic decision of this task, on the basis of which analytical dependences are got for determination of thickness of cut in any point of cutting edge, is resulted. The possible charts of cutting away of assumption are considered at treatment of spur by rack-shaped cutters, the chart of multipass treatment is offered, advantages and lacks of charts of cutting away of machining allowance, considered in the article are rotined.
