Abstract

The analysis of drafting of tubular blanks made of low-carbon steel was carried out by finite element method. The influence of die’s geometry on the load modes of deformation and on maximum draft ratio were determined. The final geometry of detail, mode of deformation and metal strengthening after deformation were determined. Die block for process realization on production was designed according to analysis data.
