Open Access Policy and Data Sharing Policy
Mechanics and Advanced Technologies adheres to the policy of open access to published material, recognizing the principles of free dissemination of scientific information and exchange of knowledge for the sake of global social progress as a priority.
Users have the freedom to read, download, copy and distribute content for educational and scientific purposes, with mandatory attribution.
In its own work, the journal is governed by the Commons Attribution 4.0 International license.
Editorial policy of open access of the journal is developed on basis recommendations and standards of Budapest initiatives open access (Budapest Open Access Initiative's definition of Open Access).

The journal provides immediate open access to all published materials, which makes research results freely available to the public and promotes global knowledge sharing, which means the following:
- every Internet user has free and unlimited access to the full text of articles published in the
journal;
- manuscripts are freely available without subscription or financial barriers;
- after publication, all materials are immediately available online (without a long wait).
Data Sharing Policy
The editorial board of the journal Mechanics and Advanced Technologies supports the principles of open science and encourages authors to make research data underlying the results of their articles available to the scientific community. Data sharing enhances research transparency, improves reproducibility, and promotes scientific progress.
Types of data that may be shared
Authors are encouraged to provide access to the following materials:
- primary experimental data;
- numerical datasets;
- algorithms, software code, or computational models;
- supplementary materials supporting the results of the study.
Where data can be deposited
Research data may be deposited in:
- open scientific repositories (e.g., Zenodo, Figshare, Dryad);
- institutional repositories of universities or research institutions;
- supplementary materials published alongside the article on the journal website.
Data citation
If data are deposited in a repository, authors should provide a permanent link (DOI or other identifier) in the article within the Data Availability Statement.

The datasets generated during the current study are available in the Zenodo repository: DOI: XXXXX.
Restrictions on data sharing
Data may not be publicly available in cases where:
- they contain confidential or personal information;
- legal or contractual restrictions apply;
- data sharing may pose security risks.
In such cases, authors should clearly explain the reasons for restricted access in the article.
Authors’ responsibilities
Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the research data they provide and for compliance with copyright and ethical standards when sharing data.
