for Participation in the Editorial Board of

Mechanics and Advanced Technologies

The peer-reviewed scientific journal Mechanics and Advanced Technologies hereby publicly invites qualified scholars to join the Editorial Board of the journal in order to ensure high academic quality of publications and compliance with principles of academic integrity and international standards of publication ethics.

1. Status of an Editorial Board Member

An Editorial Board member participates in shaping the journal’s scientific policy and may be involved in the peer review process and providing expert recommendations. Participation in the Editorial Board does not constitute an employment relationship and does not imply financial remuneration unless otherwise agreed separately.

2. Responsibilities

An Editorial Board member undertakes to:

  • adhere to the principles of academic integrity;

  • comply with publication ethics standards, including the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE);

  • maintain confidentiality of materials received during editorial activities;

  • avoid conflicts of interest.

3. Term of Participation

Participation in the Editorial Board is open-ended and may be terminated at the initiative of either party by written notice.

4. Acceptance of the Offer

Acceptance of this public offer is confirmed by providing written consent in one of the following forms:

  • a signed statement (paper-based or electronic);

  • an electronic document signed with a qualified electronic signature;

  • an official email confirmation sent from an academic email address.

Providing written consent confirms that the scholar has read and fully agrees with the terms of this offer and the journal’s editorial policies.
