Abstract

Using the method of modelling the mechanical behaviour of an anisotropic body by some equivalent isotropic one, yield and strength criterion of orthotropic materials under complex stress state was developed. Calculation results correspond with test data of aluminium alloys under biaxial stress at room and low temperature conditions.
