Abstract

The application of duplex coatings in terms of creating residual compressive stresses in the surface layers of the base-coating. The minimization of stress the stresses on the surface of the adhesive contact, depending on the normal load. It is shown that the application of duplex treatment reduces the likelihood plastic deformation tool base in conditions of contact loading and ensures durability of the system base-coating.
