Mykola Bobir is a well-known specialist in the field of fatigue and creep of materials and structural elements for various purposes, taking into account the main thermal power parameters of the operational load.
The main scientific works are devoted to the development of effective methods for calculating the stress-strain state, predicting the resource at the design stage and the operation stage, taking into account scattered damage, structural elements of the aerospace industry and power engineering.
According to the results of scientific research, he published more than 200 scientific articles, including 2 monographs and 3 textbooks and a study guide. Under his leadership, 8 candidate and 3 doctoral dissertations were defended.
